Jesus Weeps Over A City – Palm Sunday Sermon
Jesus Weeps Over A City is all about the compassion of Christ for those who are lost spiritually and don’t even know it. He comes into Jerusalem on what is known as His triumphant entry, where the people want to make him the king, but that is not the kingship that he wants. As he come toward the city and sees the temple, he stops and begins to cry in sorrow for those of his chosen people who did not receive him as the Messiah. Destruction is what ahead for Jerusalem and her people. And that is what happened 70 years after this event.
